Music Therapy for Aged Care

Agape Music Therapy Service offers group and individual sessions at various aged care homes and day care homes since 2012, Registered Music therapist Anna Tang is specialized in using music as a tool to enhance or maintain physical and mental health of elderly.

Researches support that people with dementia and cognitive impairment, even without any musical background can definitely be benefited from singing, music listening and instrumental playing under professional supervision.

Agape Music Therapy Service facilitate hospital programs at mental health units around WA. Therapeutic goals will be set together with the allied health team, and aim to enhance the patients’ quality of life during their pathway of recovery.
